The cleansing tool of Christianity is the blood of the Lamb in which it can be cleansed. This is the essence of Christianity, not that we live a morally immaculate life. By no means does Zoltán Balog want to downplay the importance of this effort, but unfortunately many people suffer from a kind of religious neurosis because they cannot get rid of the burden of their sins. They cannot get rid of the idea that they are very bad Christians because they have done this and that too, and they are moving further and further away from the Christian community itself and their own faith.
