Amire’s full-length sociographic poems introduce their readers to a workers ’housing estate consisting of barracks, segregates, homes of dilapidated ten-story people, or just behind the coffers of a grocery store. We stumble in tight spaces, our noses are hit by wet walls, tobacco, soaked coats, the smell of food - with sharpened senses we are there among the vulnerable, those living in deep poverty. Tibor Juhász does an important job: he writes poems of compassion in an impassive voice.
